QuellDesk is built and run by Softoo LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 10323856, with its registered office at The Porter Building, 1 Brunel Way, Slough SL1 1FQ, United Kingdom. Softoo LTD is the controller of the personal data described in this policy.

The law we follow
We process personal data in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU 2016/679) and the UK Data Protection Act 2018.
What we collect
When you contact us
When you book a demo, ask for a price or ask about migration, we collect what you enter in the form: your name, work email and company, and, if you choose to give them, your role, number of agents, current tool, timeline and message. We also record that you agreed to be contacted.
How you found us
With your enquiry we receive the page you first landed on, the site that referred you, and any campaign tags in the link you followed (for example utm_source). This tells us which pages and campaigns are useful. Until you send a form it is held only in your browser, and it is cleared when you close the tab.
Technical data
Like any website, our hosting records technical data such as IP addresses, browser type and the time of requests, to keep the site secure and working. We limit how many enquiries can be sent from one IP address in an hour, to stop abuse. For this we keep a one-way hash of the IP address, never the address itself, and we store that hash and your browser type with an enquiry.
No analytics
The site does not run analytics and sets no cookies. See the cookie policy.
How we use it, and why we are allowed to
- To answer your enquiry, arrange a demo and send you a price. Our basis is your request and the steps you ask us to take before a possible contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
- To contact you about QuellDesk in relation to your enquiry. Our basis is the consent you give in the form, which you can withdraw at any time.
- To keep the site secure and prevent abuse. Our basis is our legitimate interest in protecting our systems.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for automated decisions that affect you.
Who processes it for us
Personal data from the website is processed for us only by Microsoft, under contract:
- Microsoft Azure: Azure Storage holds the enquiry record; Azure Functions receives and checks the form; Azure Front Door serves the website; Application Insights records server logs.
- Azure Communication Services Email: sends the internal notification that tells our team a new enquiry has arrived.
Where it is stored
Enquiries are stored in Microsoft Azure's East US region, in the United States. Transfers from the UK and the EU rely on Microsoft's Data Protection Addendum, which includes the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK Addendum.

Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your personal data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to move it to another provider. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. To use any of these rights, email info@softoo.co or our Data Protection Officer at uzair.sheikh@softoo.co.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
How we protect it
The site is served over HTTPS, enquiries are stored with access limited to the people who need them, and we apply the same security practices to this site that we apply to our product.
Children
This site is for businesses. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
